-Tired...- 7:27 PM
For the globalization chart, Joey was supposed to do the write-up, because Andrea and I did all the pictures already.
Just now, she said she did not know how to do it. Being the perfectionist I am when doing project work, I ended up doing the write-up -_-|||
I shall show you some of the proof. Compare my current write-up to the original version in Wikipedia.
MY write-up:
Globalization describes an ongoing process by which regional economies, societies and cultures have become
integrated through globe-spanning networks of exchange. The term is sometimes used to refer specifically to
economic globalization: the integration of national economies into the international economy through trade, foreign
direct investment, capital flows, migration, and the spread of technology. However, globalization is usually
recognized as being driven by a combination of economic, technological, sociocultural, political and biological
factors. The term can also refer to the transnational dissemination of ideas, languages, or popular culture.
The four main types of globalisation are:
Goods and services - imports and exports
Labor/people - migration
Capital - investment for the good of the nation
Technology - research and inventing new items
Globalisation has affected the world in various aspects such as the ones below.
Industrial - companies produce goods worldwide
Financial - instability of markets worldwide
Economic - realization of a global common market with freedom of goods exchange
Political - some governments take advantage of the word "globalisation" to influence the creation of a world
government
Informational - information flow efficiency is increased with the use of telecommunication tools such as the Internet
Language - the world is influenced to speak multiple languages
Competition - increased competition creates a "survival of the fittest" society
Cultural - countries learn from each other's culture to understand each other better
Legal/Ethical - countries create crime awareness
Original Wikipedia version:
Globalization (or globalisation) describes an ongoing process by which regional economies, societies and cultures have become integrated through globe-spanning networks of exchange. The term is sometimes used to refer specifically to economic globalization: the integration of national economies into the international economy through trade, foreign direct investment, capital flows, migration, and the spread of technology. However, globalization is usually recognized as being driven by a combination of economic, technological, sociocultural, political and biological factors. The term can also refer to the transnational dissemination of ideas, languages, or popular culture.
Looking specifically at economic globalization, demonstrates that it can be measured in different ways. These center around the four main economic flows that characterize globalization:
Goods and services, e.g., exports plus imports as a proportion of national income or per capita of population
Labor/people, e.g., net migration rates; inward or outward migration flows, weighted by population
Capital, e.g., inward or outward direct investment as a proportion of national income or per head of population
Technology, e.g., international research & development flows; proportion of populations (and rates of change thereof) using particular inventions (especially 'factor-neutral' technological advances such as the telephone, motorcar, broadband)
Globalization has various aspects which affect the world in several different ways such as:
Industrial - emergence of worldwide production markets and broader access to a range of foreign products for consumers and companies. Particularly movement of material and goods between and within national boundaries.[citation needed]
Financial - emergence of worldwide financial markets and better access to external financing for borrowers. As these worldwide structures grew more quickly than any transnational regulatory regime, the instability of the global financial infrastructure dramatically increased, as evidenced by the financial crises of late 2008.
Economic - realization of a global common market, based on the freedom of exchange of goods and capital. The interconnectedness of these markets, however meant that an economic collapse in any one given country could not be contained.[citation needed]
Political - some use "globalization" to mean the creation of a world government which regulates the relationships among governments and guarantees the rights arising from social and economic globalization. Politically, the United States has enjoyed a position of power among the world powers; in part because of its strong and wealthy economy. With the influence of globalization and with the help of The United States’ own economy, the People's Republic of China has experienced some tremendous growth within the past decade. If China continues to grow at the rate projected by the trends, then it is very likely that in the next twenty years, there will be a major reallocation of power among the world leaders. China will have enough wealth, industry, and technology to rival the United States for the position of leading world power.
Informational - increase in information flows between geographically remote locations. Arguably this is a technological change with the advent of fibre optic communications, satellites, and increased availability of telephone and Internet.
Language - the most popular language is English.
About 35% of the world's mail, telexes, and cables are in English.
Approximately 40% of the world's radio programs are in English.
About 50% of all Internet traffic uses English.
Competition - Survival in the new global business market calls for improved productivity and increased competition. Due to the market becoming worldwide, companies in various industries have to upgrade their products and use technology skillfully in order to face increased competition.
Ecological - the advent of global environmental challenges that might be solved with international cooperation, such as climate change, cross-boundary water and air pollution, over-fishing of the ocean, and the spread of invasive species. Since many factories are built in developing countries with less environmental regulation, globalism and free trade may increase pollution. On the other hand, economic development historically required a "dirty" industrial stage, and it is argued that developing countries should not, via regulation, be prohibited from increasing their standard of living.
Cultural - growth of cross-cultural contacts; advent of new categories of consciousness and identities which embodies cultural diffusion, the desire to increase one's standard of living and enjoy foreign products and ideas, adopt new technology and practices, and participate in a "world culture". Some bemoan the resulting consumerism and loss of languages. Also see Transformation of culture.
Spreading of multiculturalism, and better individual access to cultural diversity (e.g. through the export of Hollywood and Bollywood movies). Some consider such "imported" culture a danger, since it may supplant the local culture, causing reduction in diversity or even assimilation. Others consider multiculturalism to promote peace and understanding between peoples.
Greater international travel and tourism. WHO estimates that up to 500,000 people are on planes at any time.
Greater immigration, including illegal immigration
Spread of local consumer products (e.g., food) to other countries (often adapted to their culture).
Worldwide fads and pop culture such as Pokémon, Sudoku, Numa Numa, Origami, Idol series, YouTube, Orkut, Facebook, and MySpace. Accessible to those who have Internet or Television, leaving out a substantial segment of the Earth's population.
Worldwide sporting events such as FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games.
Incorporation of multinational corporations in to new media. As the sponsors of the All-Blacks rugby team, Adidas had created a parallel website with a downloadable interactive rugby game for its fans to play and compete.
Social - development of the system of non-governmental organisations as main agents of global public policy, including humanitarian aid and developmental efforts.
Technical
Development of a global telecommunications infrastructure and greater transborder data flow, using such technologies as the Internet, communication satellites, submarine fiber optic cable, and wireless telephones
Increase in the number of standards applied globally; e.g., copyright laws, patents and world trade agreements.
Legal/Ethical
The creation of the international criminal court and international justice movements.
Crime importation and raising awareness of global crime-fighting efforts and cooperation.
The emergence of Global administrative law.
HAHA! DRASTIC CHANGE RIGHT?!
This is my skill. Copy and paste without people even finding out... But I completely put in a new phrase for each example. So might as well not copy... Well, the politics section has my very biased views in it.
AHHH! Just realized my blog is linked to the class blog...
Which means that whoever who visits the class blog can link to my blog...
Which means that I shouldn't type rubbish...
Which means that I can't go on with my rants...
Ugh...
Here's a bonus for all of you who are constantly reading my blog! It's an essay specially dedicated to all of you, and I hope you like my writing style! It's like novel style, fantasy etc. with lots of description.
And here's a phrase I recently coined. "Description is the best art you could ever have in this world."
The reason being I'm always a little TOO descriptive and when it comes to disgusting stuff, I, well, describe it perfectly. So yeah.
She stifled a yawn.
She thought about how fun the day was, especially the Teacher's Day celebration. She sang and her hand trembled. She willed her hand to stop shaking, but it just did not listen. Was her hand not a part of her body?
She put all her feelings into the song. She flinched when she heard that some parts just did not come out right.
Looking up, she comforted herself. She tried averting the gaze of the audience, but failed. They were just too distracting.
Soon, she sang the last few phrases of the song. She told herself to enjoy her singing; it was not how well she sung that mattered, but how well she enjoyed her singing. If she enjoyed it, her voice will sound even better, and everything will come naturally.
There was no need to worry about the lyrics, the song will guide her, it will take your breath away.
Music plays and stirs in your ears, softly touching you like the gentle breeze that blows.
The song had ended and the audience's applause could be heard.
However, it did not matter to her; the world could melt away, she would still have a light guiding her.
Oh, the exuberance of performing on stage.
How she enjoyed herself.
She yearned for that chance.
Even in a world that has ended, she will shine like the light, because she holds happiness in her heart.
She will not feel lonely, when darkness looms over her.
It is suffocating, pulling you down; you struggle helplessly.
Then, you remember the light.
It warms your heart.
懐かしいな声.
聞いてるか?
Inspiration from Clannad! Hope you enjoyed reading this!
By the way, it says "Natsukashii na koe. Kiiteru ka?" Which means "A nostalgic voice. Can you hear it?"

-59th post!- 6:06 PM
This post is dedicated to my Gokudera-sama!
Because it's the 59th post! XD
Okay, get back to blogging. Shall I blog in a new way? =D
Me: Ahem.
Gokudera: Why do you like me?!
Me: Umm... *flushes red* You're cute cuz' you're a tako head and you have the same hairstyle as me?
Gokudera: ...
Me: Forget it... Anyway, I still like you! But I think TYL Gokudera is more shuai than you~!
Gokudera: WTF?! You stupid woman!
Me: And I hope he rapes you.
Gokudera: $%^@#$#$%$#!!
I'm gonna go off, so I'm keeping this post short.
I'm in a pinch! Don't know what to buy for Andrea! Bringing Wii remotes tomorrow.
By the way, we (the prefects+Bernice) decorated the hall until it looked like an elegant ballroom! Well, we blew balloons and tied them until our fingers hurt. We had bandages around our fingers. I had three, two on my left hand (thumb and index finger) and one on my right thumb. It still hurts and the skin is peeling.
Well, from 2-4, we blew balloons and put them up. We kept bursting the balloons because of the bad quality...
Then after 4, most went back except for people like me, Shiying, Petunia, Sabrina, Amelia, Karen and Deepika etc. My father helped out from around 3.30... We put up the streamers in spirals on the pillars. They're pink. We also put the disco ball which dropped T_T back into place. Then we did touch up here and there, added more decorations, and at around 4.30, the rest of them wasted the time twisting the balloons. So only Karen, Deepika, my father and I did the spirals and other decorations. It was fun. Really, really fun. And I assure you this year's decor is a thousand times better than all other years. Well, kinda. But it's definitely better than all other years.
OMG! It's 10pm! See ya then, bye~!
Anyway, I shall not bother to tell you about the decorations, you'll see it anyway, right? It's just that on Monday most of the balloons will shrink. Aiya...

-Jigoku Shoujo Blogskin- 4:37 PM
Ippen shinde miru?
It means, "How would you like to see what death is like?"
I just changed my blogskin. Well, not really, cuz' I just changed the picture. The colour, coding, everything is done by me, with the exception of the picture which I got from Photobucket. Now it's dark...
I think all of you are wondering why I'm so free... and relaxed... When PSLE is just round the corner. And Prelim is the day after tomorrow.
Haha, it's just me. I don't like to study. I'm confident of my own skills and that I have prepared enough over the years. However, I will work hard revising a little... Won't be good if I do badly, right?
If you wanna know my secret to success from P1 until now...
It's to remember these three things.
1. Read
2. Analyze
3. Apply
You just read what's in front of you.
Then you try to understand it. What the question is asking for, what you're required to know and how do you go about solving it.
Finally, you apply it. This is one step you always skip, that is the reason why you may not be able to grasp the concept fully. To apply it, you need the previous two steps. To apply is to start solving the question, and that's not all. It means to find out why you have to do this question and what it has got to do with real life. I may sound like I'm trying to be funny, but I'm not. It really works. By doing so, it will increase your interest in the question.
Here's a final secret I'm willing to share. I don't think any of you will understand the final step, so I shall give you a hint.
By having more interest in the question, your unconscious mind will open up paths. Your senses will be sharper. Instead of using only two senses to solve, which is probably your visual and logical thinking skills, you use around 6 senses to solve it. This process requires a lot of creativity. This is how Albert Einstein actually solved problems.
Lastly, sleep is the most important. It need not be a deep sleep, but rest and relaxation is fine enough. Like this, your unconscious mind will actually contribute more.
ALl of the above belongs to me. I have read many articles and pieces of information I could find on this topic and this is like a summary. But it's all done by me, no copy and paste AT ALL.
AH~ Just watched Bleach and Reborn!'s latest episodes. Zangetsu!!!!
I'm watching Soul Eater 42 now. Sigh, gotta go and practice piano...
ONE LAST RANT. FINISHED WATCHING DEVIL MAY CRY~~ WOOTS!! DANTE IS TOO FREAKING HOT I SWEAR I'M DYING! I WANNA SEE HIS LIVE PERFORMANCE EVEN IF IT'S AGE-RESTRICTED!!!! (okay, ignore me)

-STGCC- 1:39 PM
YO! I hope you don't shoot me for not posting for a while. Yeah, I had no time to blog.
I'm gonna tell you more about the Singapore Toys, Games and Comics Convention - STGCC in short.
I went to Suntec City at around 2, to eat lunch first, then proceed upstairs to catch the CosCon Cosplay Competition.
Umm, I saw Dante from Devil May Cry! He was holding a guitar(purple) and his sword.
There was also Pikachu. Damn cute but not chubby enough. It was rolling on the stage and it rolled down the stage. The audience all laughed.
There's one guy from Shaman King and I gotta say he looked like Elvis Presley. LOL.
There was also Madam Red from Kuroshitsuji! I think she was in the top ten. Then Allen and Kanda came out. I wanted to scream "YULLEN FOREVER!" and Innocent Sorrow started playing. I was singing along to it...
Then, Sephiroth (FF)came out and One-Winged Angel started playing! Oooohhh, Sephy-chan!
Then Aizen from Bleach came out! He was wearing the 5th Division haori. And glasses. I wanted to scream I HATE YOU AIZEN!! And, there was also a gundam. The funniest thing is, it could not go on stage cuz' it was too big. I LOL-ed.
Soon, it was the end of the cosplay competition. I went to walk around the booths, and yeah. I wanted to tour the place in a systematic order but unfortunately, I got lost with my parents and we ended up walking three rounds.
Personally, the best booth was the Blythe one. There were so many dolls on display! I managed to take a few pictures. I also bought a doll/figurine. It's the Blythe Belle Marmalade Heart. It has light blue hair with a black bow in it and I think it's wearing something like country lolita (white and light blue).
Haha, everyone so guai stay at home to study, only I go STGCC... But Prim went as well XD on both days!! Sigh, why didn't I catch her, we went there at the same time... This shows that such conventions are very scary.
Oh yeah... Bernice is Jamilah! See Too is C. Jamilah 2! OMG, damn funny leh.
Today's PSLE oral was such a breeze... So easy!! For the conversation, I talked and talked and talked without stopping...And I felt like I was talking normally to my friends. There was 2 examiners, 1 male and 1 female. The male one was very funny. But I could not hear clearly what he said and the female examiner had to tell me what he had said. Nonetheless, he's hilarious! He asked me whether I ate pots and pans...
Now I'm doing the Henry Park English paper. Comprehension MCQ was a ghost story o_0
I shall type an excerpt Comprehension Cloze here. Read and you'll get it.
"She squatted down, pushed her fingers into the slit and scooped out a portion of the tasty stuff. A mixture of joy and terror caused her body to quiver as she brought her finger into her mouth. Every bit of the finger was licked clean and when her finger was cleaned completely, her tongue moved over her lips and beyond her lips to her chin to rescue any of the precious stuff there."
I don't know about you but I guess you know I'm thinking dirty...
Okay... too lazy to type anymore... See ya~!

-The Inverted Butterfly- 12:25 PM
Please don't say
Those cursed words yet
"Love" is light like feathers
Whisper
With a tenor that is kinder than papa
If you're ready to rob
More fragrantly than
The dream which I have and is buried in
Millions of beds of roses, I am alive
What to do? In this world
That ugly things overran
Can I go and fly unblemished?
Alone in the cocoon
Even if I continued to learn
The crystal starry sky
Is too far away
Please don't let your trembling fingertips
Touch me yet
A flower-stealer's sweet hesitation
You may touch me
If you're confident
That you will reach to the depths of my profound chest
Isn't there a reason to believe in
My prince on a white horse?
The purity adorned by
A cracked glass case is
The dying heart of angels
When I awake again tomorrow
I'll be the briar princess with a sleepless soul
Who knows the time of centuries
A crown that cuts into me
In a droplet of blood
Ahh, now I realize
The truth
Please don't go yet
With the form of the moonlight
I seem to have noticed my mistakes
I want to be surrounded by
And destroy the tranquil warmth; am I
A sinful girl?
I don't even understand the meaning
Of my tears that are softly spilling
Please don't say
Those cursed words anymore
"Love" is heavy like chains
Whisper
With a tenor that is kinder than papa
If you can be ready for anything
Come then
Vow with your trembling lips
The heartbeats of a hunter who plucks nectar
You may run away with me
if you have the courage to shoot
through the bottom of my heart
Please make it so that if I caught you
I wouldn't ever let you escape

-Happy National Day!- 4:19 PM
Ehehehe, wishing Singapore a very Happy National Day!
Today church was very fun. We had game stations XD
Got one we had to answer questions. The guy was like, "Why is the Pledge Moment at 8:22?"
We gave very stupid answers, like:
Because 22 is the PM's favourite number!
He said,"Then what about 8?"
We said:
8 is a lucky number!
8 is August!
The President likes the number 8!
Then we were required to tell a story that happened in school with 2 given words. Each of the members in our team has to say at least 1 line. I shall summarize what we said. The words are: 'stranger' and 'storybooks'.
One day, I went to the school library to borrow books.
After borrowing 5 books, I walked out of the library.
A stranger attacked me and stole my books.
I had to pay the library fines because I lost the books.
I felt upset so I chased after the stranger and tried to attack him.
The stranger was too strong and I landed in hospital, severely injured.
I had a fractured arm.
I hope you enjoyed our story. It was so ridiculous (and hilarious)! By the way, I said the I bu shuang and attacked the stranger line.
And, my sister brought her colleague called Keith to church. I find him quite cute. And funny. He is one of my sister's boyfriend candidates. But he's younger than her! Hmm... (starts making Konata's '=w=' face)
After church, we went for lunch with my sister's usual group. They're her CG friends, so yeah.
Then they were talking about the East Timor mission trip, and how they showered. My sister said that the girls went to the showers together and dragged her along. The others insisted on going in in pairs. It was so cold! And they splashed water at each other, screaming. My sister and the other were outside and hearing them screaming, they were reluctant to go in. Then, it was my sis' turn and she went in alone. Damn cold but she didn't scream like the others.
Then we were on our way home after lunch. My sister talked about the splashing water thing again.
Keith was like, "Hey, stop talking about the splashing water and screaming in the shower thing, you're making me imagine things!" (me starts smirking)
My sis went, "You're sick!"
Keith protested, "Come on! Which guy doesn't think like that when you say this?"
My sister was like, "Maybe Dr. A won't. He will be like, 'Girls together in the shower? Yucks. Guys are better.' " And they started laughing at the stupid gay doctor.
Then he said, "Some people say lesbians are hot, gays are not." I was totally objecting in my mind! What's so good about yuri...? Yaoi is hot. XD
Then my sister started talking about the lack of showers in the hospital. She was complaining she could not use the luxurious shower. Then he said, "Next time, don't use the shower downstairs. Use mine." I swear I almost got a nosebleed! He muttered, "But if you want to use mine, tell me first."
My sister laughed, "What? You want me to knock on the door and open it, shouting 'Hi Keith!' while apologizing profusely when I see you in a state of undress, using the shower?" I bet he meant it the other way.
I realized he is very dirty minded. When he came into my(and my sis', we share) room, he saw my Shakugan no Shana poster with Shana in a kimono. "Why is she dressed like that? I mean, her kimono is dropping." Okay, that's true. That was what I thought at first when I saw it... But you can't help it right? It's fanservice (she's cute leh)! And I bought it from Andrea.
He also watches anime and read manga! Very happy!
Sister: Woman A is so damn chio! You mean you don't find her chio?
Keith: I find anime girls more chio than real life women!
Sister: Oh, so you watch a lot of those shows...
Keith: No, I don't watch anime with lots of girls! I watch anime like Bleach!
Me: *interrupts* That day when I was reading Bleach, my sister was like, 'OMG you're looking at women with big boobs!'
Keith: AHH! You exposed my secret! (I think he's referring to Matsumoto)
Me: Yeah, Bleach features a lot of women with big boobs.
Sister: There! You're a bad influence. You're so dirty minded.
Me: *chuckles*
I hope my brother and sister gets married soon... Sigh...
UGH!! Still a pile of HW not done! Better get my ass to my HW! DAMMIT! Why does mee pok give us so much unnecessary homework?! Bye~!

-Yay! Reborn 145 is out!- 12:31 PM
WOOTS! Reborn 145 is out! I'm watching it now!
In order to not waste time, I shall keep the post short.
Err...Sorry for not blogging for 1 week? Nah, I was always visiting the blog. I just got nothing to say.
And...Thanks for tagging, guys! Really appreciate that.
To Bernice: YEAH! Kitty Hibari is DAMN CUTE!!
GAAAHH! My mother cut my fringe! Because I requested it slanted, she misjudged it and cut one part so damn SHORT!
It's horrible! I was protesting! Fortunately, I clipped up some of my longer hair so she did not cut it :X I also did some more cutting so it does not appear short. XD
SO HAPPY! We won! I was screaming my lungs out yesterday, so my voice is hoarse now. I also have muscle aches. And I walk with a limp. Darn...
When we came back, my father was lecturing me about volleyball! He said we did not hit properly! Did not spread ourselves out (our team did, the opponent did not >:| )! He said we should hit at their blind spots! Which I did! But one of my serves was viciously aimed at the opponent's head. It bounced on her head, then to the ground. I was laughing secretly. And we got a point :D In the end, we won our match. And very scary, cuz' my father suddenly appear out of nowhere. I still can't believe he is actually a volleyball player! Very scary!! To him, our bouncy ball is like a balloon!
I asked him whether I did any funny movements while jumping. I must have if not my thighs wouldn't hurt like siao.
He said that when I jumped, I jumped with one leg and the other leg folded! (OMG -_-|||)Did anyone notice that? Cuz' I didn't even notice it. But I know I almost did a mid-air back-flip and fall down.
Hehheh... Read too much yaoi fanfictions and doujins... *dies from massive nosebleed*
Ririadoll's Lelouch-Hibari is so SHUAI! Hot + Hot = Massive nosebleed!!
So happy, I can read Japanese RAWs...
OH by the way, Andrea and I have started a scanlation group, Chikayu Scans, which is a combination of Sachiko CHIaki and KAYUmi Hirai, both our pen names. We're currently doing Zombie-Loan scans, Chapter 73 is almost done. Andrea is in charge of clean-up and editing, and a little of translation, while I'm doing most of the translations and proofreading.
But we're only a pair of P6 girls, so have mercy on us...We're really working very hard to cook up scans. And here is the website, please support us by reading our works and if you're interested, just tell us! http://chikayu.freehostia.com
http://chikayu.proboards.com/index.cgi This is the forum.
Chi + Ka = Chika! LOL.
I'm gonna watch Reborn 145 now! So see ya~! Bye!

-Blogger has a PROBLEM!- 7:06 PM
There is a problem with posting! GAAHHH!Anyway, I would like to wish a Happy 29th Birthday to my baka-aniki (stupid brother). Hehheh. His birthday is on 7th August, so I'm early! Yeah!
Anyway, he celebrated his birthday yesterday night. A lot of his friends came over. Party, party, party...
Ate a lot! The cake is carrot cake! (No not THAT carrot cake. The very delicious, creamy, nutty carrot cake!)
And I thought I'd share with you some funny stuff.
There was a dish called Chaos Pond. Yep you saw it right. It's actually just rosti. If you don't know what that is, I shall enlighten you. It's potato and cheese/milk and bacon. Ring a bell?
My sister was like, "What is this?" pointing at the dish.
Guy A: Oh, this is Chaos Pond. I made it.
Sister and I: Ah. *Dig in...*
Guy B: What's this?
Guy C: Cheese and milk.
Guy A: Stuff. No, actually, stuffs.
Guy B: *stares at Guy A*
Guy A: Doesn't it annoy you when people say "stuffs"?
Guy B: Umm...No.
Guy A: *Pwned*
Guy D: Is that milk?
Guy A: It's stuff.
Guy D: That's a LOT of stuff man... *raises eyebrow and shakes head* (I'm guessing you know what he's referring to.)
Guy D: If the stuff is this colour then there's something really wrong...
Guy B: How you know?
Brother: Because he has seen lots of the stuff before. And what we're currently eating is STUFFS.(Whole table starts laughing)
I feel like vomiting sia. I'm supposed to act innocent but I can't help laughing...
And then when the party just started and my brother and co. were upstairs playing cards, a few visitors came. I was playing the piano alone.
Guy A(the guy who made the Chaos Pond): Hello?
Me: Continues playing River Flows in You.
Guy A: Have I come into the wrong house?
Me: *Gets pissed* No. (While still playing the piano)
Guy A: Where are the others?
Me: Upstairs.
Guy A: It's nice, rather...(a bit puzzled)
Me: *still playing the piano* Thank you. (rather sarcastically)
And for that night, the very classic wooden shed that I helped in designing and my father built was turned into a smoking corner! *Gets seriously pissed*
Brother: What the f**k lor. I think they one night can make the thing collapse liao.
Me: *sniffs*
Rest of the table: *starts laughing*
Brother: Do you notice the sudden silence across the table and everyone's staring at you? (looking at one of the guys)
Guy A: (Babbles about some stuff which I forgot)
Me: You icebreaker.
And I finally discovered that one of my neighbours, house No. 6, owns a Mercedes, a Ferrarri (OMG!!), a Maserati (!!!) and a Jaguar!!! I heard my brother shouting that during a conversation so I was seriously pumped up.
Sister and I: LET'S GO!!!
So we randomly put on slippers and ran downhill.
And we were trying to figure out which was the Mas. I figured it out, because I recognized it from Top Gear XD Too bad the Ferrarri was covered by a cloth...Well, that's to be expected.
When I came back, I was like," DAD! I saw the Mercs, I saw the Jag, I saw the Maserati and the Ferrarri!!!"
OMG! They have a JAG! A FERRARRI EVEN~!
According to Top Gear, if you own a Jag, you can do whatever you want.
Woman A: Oh goodness, he ran over my dog.
Woman B: He ran over it with a JAG.
Woman A: Never mind. Because he owns a JAG.
I find it ironic. But what if someone runs over your dog with a Ferrarri?
Me: OH DAMN! He ran over my dog!
Sister: He ran over it with a Ferrarri.
Me: WHAT?! I'll make him pay triple or give me his CAR!
Okay, enough of posting.
